  • First of all, people really don't like the idea of being sold. So when you write copy that does nothing but shove your product down your visitor's throat, they feel a loss of control, and end up leaving your website faster than you can blink.
  • Second, it's a proven fact that people buy for emotional, not rational, reasons. Chances are, there's no rational reason why they should buy your ebook on "how to make the world's best chocolate cake".

    There's no logical reason why they should buy it when cake isn't nutritious, it's high in calories, it can be expensive, and it takes time to make it. But emotionally, it makes you feel good. And that's what you have to tap into, their emotions.
  • And third, once your visitor is sold on your product, they need to satisfy their emotional decision with logic. You have to make your customer feel good about the decision they've made to hand their cash over to you.

    In our example about the "how to make the world's best chocolate cake" you would achieve this by assuring them that your chocolate cake is low in fat, made with only the finest, natural ingredients that won't cost them a fortune to buy, and they can make it in just 30 minutes.

What About This "Killer Copy" That Lets You Sell
Anything To Anyone?

There's no need to resort to murder just to get your visitors to click the order button!
